Words cannot express how much love I have for Cerie. I sincerely hope she wins, and it looks like she may just have a serious shot at it. I'm actually sorry to see Shane get the boot, some of his one-on-one camera scenes were pure comedic gold.

Fun in the Sun on Christmas
My dad has a history of buying my mom an expensive ring or necklace she's had her eye on for Christmas. These things are usually very beautiful, bright, and shiny. Mom likes the shiny!
This year, mom told dad, no baubles! She said that since she doesn't have a job, they really can't afford it.
Well, dad respected her wish to not receive any expensive baubles this year. Instead, he did something even more extravagant. 
In July, my parents celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary, so he surprised mom with [a somewhat belated] week-long, all-inclusive trip to the Turks and Caicos Beaches Resort and Spa. It brought my mom to tears.
My dad is officially the coolest dad ever.

Okay, I can live with Dani as the winner. I would have prefered Rafe, but as long as it wasn't Lydia, I'm happy.
Next season looks pretty awesome with the whole exile to another island thing going on. Way to keep changing things up Mr. Burnett.
And OMG, THIS JUST IN...
THE LINZES WON THE AMAZING RACE!!! I've been hoping they'd win from the very beginning because they acted and treated each other almost exactly the same way my family would have. I love them. Plus, they're from Ohio, so wait, is that really a plus? Whatever. They won! Yay!

I'm thinking either Steph or Rafe will win, with Cindy as a very close third. Steph will probably not win just because people will already say she had her chance on the first Survivor she was on, and why should she get a second chance, but who knows. Rafe is smart, surprisingly strong, and able to adapt to different situations, so he's my top choice.
