I never posted the results of last week's mysterious conference call. My bank is officially merging with and taking the name of our sister bank some time during the first quarter of the year. Unfortunately, this means that I, along with a few others, will likely be loosing our jobs. I know of three people who are definitely out of jobs, and considering the other company already has a loans department, it seems pretty likely that we'll be loosing our jobs, although we have no official word on that yet.

For the last week or so, I've been wondering why I've been getting a burning sensation in the throat and stomach area. It suddenly occured to me, I'm probably getting an ulcer. I'm only 26. I've always thought of ulcers and an older person's problem. Wonderful.
